The UK police will have new powers to restrict protests - based on location. This is not a ban on protests - we're told. As the BBC reports, the aim is - in part - to prove the gov't "has Jewish people's backs".

The logic here is unfathomable. The Palestine Action people are no threat to anyone! Police aren't investigating crime on the streets - but deploy 1500 to arrest elderly protestors for peace. Change is coming!
