Israeli PM called the charges “an attempt to deny Israel the basic right of self-defence”. Actually, the charges are not about whether Israel can defend itself but how - that is - NOT by committing war crimes.

This decision won't have been reached lightly. So if the Israeli PM stands by his views, he should be allowed to justify them - and pay the consequences if he fails. The PM really needs his friend Joe Biden now!
