Even if - IF - all the systems were secure, even if - IF - we could trust the gov't, - even if - IF - our data wasn't such a valuable and desirable commodity, DGID is still not safe. The simple reason is - human error.

Britain's PM Keir Starmer doesn't say we'll have to have digital ID. Rather, he says digital ID is the way to avoid the problem of having to pay a fee to prove our ID - which is a problem his gov't has created!
