There're genuine mistakes which are not predictable. Then there're mistakes which are. Then there are events labelled as 'mistakes' - which are really due to total incompetence or even worse - intended!

THE MINISTER HAS A POINT!

The idea that the Boat Entry System can't be stopped is seen as farcical. It's clearly being allowed to happen. To save lives in the Channel the gov't could issue Eurostar tickets, But that's just too blatant perhaps?
