Getting good treatment within the NHS used to be a cert. Nowadays it's a complete lottery and doesn't matter if you're a BBC reporter - as it shouldn't. This is time to rebuild the service on a complete NEW model.

My attention was caught this week by an article on the BBC about NHS birthing quotas. It seems an odd concept to get your head around at first, but it was a story that took me back in time.
