So, the UK is not alone! The river Seine in Paris is contaminated with high-levels of bacteria unsafe for humans - and that's been the case for more than 100yrs. The problem is that we live in a 3rd world world.

I was alerted this week by a Facebook post, advising people to check out where the sewage outlets are located in the rivers and streams of their local community. For this advice we are indebted to The Rivers Trust who have pinpointed all the brown spots.
