This is a strange story. Why would the US gov't seek to sabotage an emergency rescue operation? One would imagine the gov't would be leading the operation - although there's no evidence of it in this story!

A 14yr old boy threw stones at police - but escaped prison as the family reprimand was considered by the CPS as a better penalty. How sweet that sounds. But adults who apparently did less did go to prison.
