There seems to be something very sinister about what's going on in UK justice - directed as it is by the UK gov't. Should the justice system be totally out the hands of gov't - in the hands of the People and juries?

Is this another example where a corruption spotlight shines on the justice system? The jury in the Filton 4 case were not told of gov't moves to brand the convicted as terrorists despite not being charged as such.

This man's acquittal by a jury proves - without any doubt - why we need our juries. The judge blocked the case for the defence - interfered, it appears, with the process of justice - but the jury saw through it.
