Burning trees is said to be bad for the environment. Trees capture carbon - which is said to be good. Planting trees is said to be good. The gov't says, burning trees is good. Err - should we look at this said logic?

This idea makes little sense to many - including many good scientists. Trees store carbon. Burn trees and carbon is released. And if we aren't recapturing that carbon - by some clever system - the plan's flawed.
