WHY CAN BILL WAS ADJOURNED
One problem with the CAN Bill is - a “Citizens’ Assembly” would transfer policy decisions from an elected to an unelected body. This is not how the rule of law works - which is good to be reminded of.

THE CAN BILL IS ADJOURNED
The Climate and Nature Bill has been voted on in the UK's parliament in an unusually well-attended debate. The bill wasn't voted for or against - instead, the vote - by 120 to 7 - was to adjourn it until July.

In principle, the Bill being coasted through parliament reads well - championed by a green and climate campaigner. But when one looks more closely at the detail, it begins to look like a wolf in sheep's clothing!
