After two long years, the Coronavirus Act has finally expired. Except – it hasn’t. The Act allows for any of its provisions to be renewed for up to six months – subject to Parliamentary approval. We live in a democracy, after all.

The gov.t has now determined that it is OK for MPs to have 2nd jobs - whilst we pay them - and, that it isn't practical to cap the number of hours they devote to them.  That should keep them on side Boris!
