Liverpool fans - accused of voicing their disrespect at the FA Cup Final - get condemend by politicians and others.  But shouldn't we be looking at the reasons for the expression  instead of widely cancelling it?

I See People Being Labelled
Being called names is never pleasant, is it? It’s not true that sticks and stones break bones but words don’t hurt – they DO hurt – and those hurts don’t always go away quickly. Calling people names in the form of putting labels on them, however, does far more harm to our society than hurting feelings.

This story could explain much of the behaviour in parliament corridors and elsewhere.  The real nub of it though, is how do we modify our society to terminate these traits? Maybe it starts with infant school?
