MET NEEDS MORE THAN A REWIRE

Police discrimination is 'Baked In' - and nothing and no one has done anything to eradicate it in decades. All that's been done is 'managing perceptions'. A rewire of the MET is a nice idea but is likely to fall short.

Gov't directions to the police - the behaviour of the police generally, including its failure on so many issues - is as bad a state as it's ever been. The only remedy, is a complete rebuild from the ground up.

Another police officer is sacked by the MET for his gross misconduct. The case is just more evidence that the culture in the MET - and wider service - is totally rancid and in so many eyes - wholly unfit for purpose!

The MET couldn't do anything else really - given the behaviour of police officers was so graphic - and featured in an undercover sting by the BBC! Had the affair been just an accusation - then No Action Needed?

This lady did no more than what any caring person would have done. Giving what water treatment companies do with sewage in our rivers - you'd think some people need to be tested for their mental capacity.
