And it does because it is our opinion - not the gov't's.  They are just paid contractors to serve the People.  But, how often does public opinion actually change things?  Rarely as it turns out - and that is the problem.

Hong Kong is now a totalitarian state where peaceful protest and free press goes punished with prison.  How can a small minority dictate to the population in this way?  This trend however is being exported.

Have you still to notice - that our freedom to express our opposition, peacefully, has been eroded?   The object is to have your submission.  That gained, people become herded sheep - awaiting determination.
